  • How does handicap betting work?

    Handicaps are types of bets where special conditions are set for declaring the winner of an event for betting purposes - regardless of the real outcome of the game.

    Asian Handicap is a form of betting where one of the teams, the underdog, is given a head start in order to balance a match. This means that they are given a virtual lead in the match, while the favorites are given the equivalent minus handicap, for instance -0.5 and 0.5.

    • If you place a bet on -0.5, you will win the bet only if your team wins.
    • If you place a bet on 0.5, you will win the bet only if your team wins or the match ends in a draw.

    1x2 with Handicap (3-way handicap) is a form of betting where the draw outcome is possible, giving you 3 potential bets.

    Eksempel:

    • 1x2 with handicap (-1) - you place a bet on home and the match finishes 1-0. After you include the parameter into the score, the final score will be 0-0. This means you have lost your bet. In order for you to win the bet the match must finish with a home win by at least 2 goals;
    • 1x2 with handicap (-1) - you place a bet on draw and the match finishes 2-0. After you include the parameter into the score, the final score will be 1-0. This means that you have lost your bet (the match didn't finish in a draw). In order for you to win the bet, the home team must win the match with only one goal difference;
    • 1x2 with handicap (-1) - you place a bet on away and the match finishes 2-1. After you include the parameter into the score, the final score will be 2-2. This means you have lost your bet. In order for you to win the bet, the match must finish with an away win or in a draw.
  • How do Asian Handicap and Over Under with integer parameters work?

    In Asian Handicap/Over Under with integer parameters bets can end up having a canceled status, besides won or lost.

    Eksempel:

    • If you place a bet on Asian Handicap 0, the bet will be canceled and you will receive your stake back if the match ends in a draw;
    • If you place a bet on Asian Handicap 1, the bet will be canceled and you will receive your stake back if the away team wins with only one goal difference;
    • If you place a bet on Over Under 2, the bet will be canceled and you will receive your stake back if the number of goals scored in the match was 2. In over under bets which team wins doesn't matter. The decisive criteria are the number of goals that has been scored.
  • How do Asian Handicap and Over Under with mixed parameters work?

    In Asian Handicap/Over Under with mixed parameters bets can end up having other outcomes than won or lost: half won and half lost.

    Asian Handicap 0.25 is a combination between Asian Handicap 0 and Asian Handicap 0.5.

    • If you place a bet on AH -0.25 (home) and the match finishes in a draw your bet will be half lost.

    Asian Handicap 0.75 is a combination between Asian Handicap 0.5 and Asian Handicap 1.

    • If you place a bet on AH 0.75 (home) and the away team won by one goal difference (0-1, 1-2, 2-3, etc.) your bet will be half lost;
    • If you place a bet on AH -0.75 (home) and the home team wins with 2-1, your bet will be half won.

    Over Under 2.25 is a combination between Over Under 2 and Over Under 2.5.

    • If you place a bet on Over 2.25 and in the match there are 2 goals scored, your bet will be half lost;
    • If you place a bet on Under 2.25 and in the match there are 2 goals scored, your bet will be half won.
  • How are odds on Half Lost bets calculated?
